Winter Clothes for Preemies

Click here to see our selection of Baby and Toddler products.

When the temperatures start to drop, little infants need soft, comfy clothes to keep them extra warm. Preemies can’t moderate their body temperatures the way that our mature bodies can. They need an extra layer of clothing to help them. One-piece t-shirt sets are great for that extra layer. In the winter time, consider using long sleeve t-shirts under your baby’s clothing.

Little bunting snow suits will keep your baby extra warm on outings. These outfits are thick and soft and usually come with a hood and foot covers. They are often made of fleece or other soft fabrics that are gentle on your infant’s soft skin. Use preemie mittens to keep your baby’s hands warm. If you can’t find mittens that fit, or stay on for that matter, little baby socks make a great substitute. You may even find that you like them better! Finish your baby’s outfit with a soft, cozy blanket. You can use this in place of a jacket, which can sometimes be very hard to find in infant sizes.

Your baby is sure to stay warm when you plan ahead and have their closet stocked with clothing and accessories designed for cold, winter weather!
